SCREENING - Stanford University

The Stanford Students for a National Health Program are excited to announce that next Thursday, October 5th, 6pm, in LK120, we will be screening the film Healing US, a documentary on the state of American healthcare and call for action in support of an American single-payer healthcare system.

Even more exciting is that we will be joined by the directors of the film Kenny Ballentine (they/them) and Maddy Purves (she/her) for a Q&A session accompanying our viewing. My words cannot adequately do the piece justice, so please see the text below for a more detailed description of the film.

Please consider joining us for an evening of learning, community-building, and most importantly, activism, as we begin to prepare for the CalCare push next legislative session. Also make sure to stop-by for some sweet CalCare/California Nurses Association merch we have been so graciously provided to share with ya'll. For more information on CalCare (A.B. 1690), please see the attached fact sheet or visit National Nurses United to learn more.
